I have had the privilege of working in the field of mental and behavioral health for over 14 years in various capacities and with diverse backgrounds, including community, residential and office settings. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate, holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in social work. Working in this field has awarded me the opportunity to support individuals with Intellectual disabilities, children/adolescents and adults with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
My passion is assisting individuals and families in making progress and becoming the best version of themselves. I hold the belief that all people have the capacity change, while working to understand and regulate uncomfortable emotions and difficult behaviors. I strive to understand your unique experience and walk with you through your journey. During our sessions’s I will utilize a variety of modalities including a blend of Cognitive Behavioral approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, and Psychoeducation. I encourage individuals to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes to free the mind to prepare and embrace the change that will follow.
