“Never be afraid to fall apart because it is an opportunity to rebuild yourself the way you wish you had been all along.” -Rae Smith
I would like for you to ponder on these questions.
What if today was better than yesterday and this month better than the last?
What if you took the first step towards health and healing?
Life isn’t always easy. Navigating throughout life’s journey can become rough and cause many to feel defeated and hopeless at times. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Our challenges and past experiences can impact our perspective and cause strain on the strongest people and best relationships. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with anxiety, trauma, heartbreak, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, therapy can benefit you. I want you to know there is hope for a better tomorrow. I would love to be part of your support network and help you to regain a clear perspective.
Now that you are here, I would first like to applaud you. I know it was not an easy choice. You may have been very hesitant to seek out help. I would like for you to know because you have decided to seek help, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place and being a better you.
Now that I have said all of that I think it is time for ABOUT ME!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alanna Hall. I am a military spouse, licensed school counselor, and licensed clinical counselor. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, shopping (who doesn’t like to shop), and self-care. If you do not have a self-care routine, I would highly encourage you to start. My self-care includes exercising, spa days, and just taking time out of my day to meditate and find my inner peace.
I graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology. I received my Masters in School Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I am a licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with National Board of Certified Counselors. My professional experience includes working in private practices, military, and school settings.
I am honored to embark on your journey as you navigate your way towards inner peace. I will provide a positive professional therapeutic experience by offering a warm peaceful non-judgement atmosphere where growth is encouraged, and solutions are discoverable. We can develop the skills necessary for you to meet your personal and professional goals. I work with children, teens, individual, couples, tailoring each treatment plan to the client’s individual needs.
Being a military spouse and apart of the military community, I understand the cognitive and emotional impact it can have on one’s life. I am familiar with the many different struggles the military and their families go through and I am here to help.
I love people and I love therapy. I love to see people grow, thrive, change, and be healed. If you are deciding to take this step know you are heading in the right direction. As long as you are willing to work, I can help you reach your goals. My Professional goal is to provide guidance and support to those who have or are experiencing trials in life. I believe we all have an important story to tell, and I would love to join you on your journey for a healthier and happier life!
I look forward to the opportunity of talking with you about counseling and about your story.
